About Me
Hi, I’m Sujil Soman, a banker by profession but a photographer at heart. My love for photography has been a constant companion through the years, starting with a simple point-and-shoot camera and evolving through a Sony Cybershot and Canon DSLR. Today, I use a Canon R10 mirrorless camera, focusing primarily on nature, wildlife, and street photography. I enjoy capturing candid moments of birds, animals, landscapes, and life as it unfolds on the streets.
Photography allows me to explore and connect with the world in a profound way. One of my proudest moments was having my work selected for a World Photography Day event by photowalksmumbai. I’ve also had the privilege of hosting a photography exhibition at my office, where I showcased some of my best shots.
In addition to my personal projects, I support content creators by doing photoshoots that bring their ideas to life. I recently compiled a photobook titled ‘Thru My Lens,’ which highlights my favorite captures of birds, reptiles, mammals, and scenic landscapes. Each shot in the book tells a story—whether it’s the grace of a bird in flight or the vibrancy of a street scene.
For me, photography is more than just a hobby; it’s a way to pause, observe, and document the beauty and energy around us. I strive to capture those fleeting moments that often go unnoticed, and I hope my work inspires others to see the world through a different lens.
Thank you so much for visiting and spending time here.
Regards
